Pami’s Story

“The visit is worth every penny. The doctors and staff are great, helpful, and understanding. It’s amazing the information they can get from scans that were missed by prior doctors. Thank you to the POTS Care team.”

Pami came to POTS Care after years of ineffective symptomatic treatment for POTS associated with EDS. After a thorough evaluation pointing to her true underlying medical cause of POTS, and just one week of treatment at POTS Care, she is seeing significant improvement in her symptoms.

Interviewer: Pami, would you like to share with us a bit about your journey to date?

Pami: Yes! I was going from doctor to doctor trying to figure things out. I became very ill after having glandular fever; nobody knew what was going on. One doctor diagnosed me with EDS but then care stopped there. He recommended I drink lots of water and consume a lot of salt to treat POTS and physical therapy to treat my EDS. That was all the advice I was given.

Interviewer: Pami, how did you learn about POTS Care?

Pami: One day I came across Pretty Ill.com and I started to follow everything Dr. Driscoll recommended. I still kept going to different medical doctors and tried everything but was not getting any better so I decided to come to POTS Care.

Interviewer: Pami, is there anything you’d like to share for the folks considering coming to POTS Care?

Pami: Yes! Instead of treating symptoms at POTS Care, they look for the underlying cause. Even though it takes time, in the long run it will be life-changing. They use established scientific data in a unique way to determine the underlying cause for POTS in each individual case.
